Senior Elective: Is for a fourth year medical student with medical malpractice insurance provided via their medical school. Student must have completed a core clerkship in OB/GYN. Student will receive hands-on experience with the responsibility similar to a beginning first year resident.

OB/GYN with Medical Malpractice Insurance: Is for the physician who has already graduated from medical school and has their own medical malpractice insurance. Physician must have completed a core clerkship in OB/GYN. Physician will receive hands-on experience with the responsibility similar to a beginning first year resident.

OB/GYN with Aultman’s Medical Malpractice Insurance: Is for the physician who has already graduated from medical school and does not have medical malpractice insurance. Physician may purchase Aultman’s medical malpractice insurance. Physician must have completed a core clerkship in OB/GYN. Physician will receive hands-on experience with the responsibility similar to a senior medical student.

Observership: Is for the physician/medical student that does not have medical malpractice insurance and does not wish to purchase Aultman’s medical malpractice insurance. Physician/medical will receive no hands-on experience as this is an observational only rotation.
